Who Am I?

Hi!  I'm Dee.  Born and raised in the suburbs of Michigan.  There, I grew up drawing anything and everything I could.  First it was copies of Disney characters, cartoons or portraits of my family.  Then I started drawing things from my imagination, and developed many characters throughout the years.

In college, I studied Industrial design, but ended up getting a job as a graphic designer thanks to a good friend!  After a few years, I felt lost, like I wasn't fulfilling my need for a more creative outlet. I knew I loved drawing and I knew I loved clothes, but being a perfectionist, I felt like I was never good enough.  I'm a dreamer, so I get inspired easily.  This was also my downfall, since I would start different projects and half way lose interest. I really wanted to break this cycle and focus on one thing, but I just wanted to do it all...

It was not until 2014 came around,  that my motivation hit it's peak. I felt like I was running out of time. I didn't want to be an ordinary person.  I wanted to be EXTRAordinary. I wanted to show people that if you TRY, maybe one day your dreams will come true. That's when I decided to JUST DO IT.  

And that, folks, is how Bumble + Dee was born!
